Critical Illness Cover
This type of cover is designed to pay out the sum assured in the event of a critical illness such as, but not only, heart attack, stroke, cancer, multiple sclerosis, kidney failure and many more conditions. Critical illness insurance pays out a tax-free lump sum on diagnosis of a range of these and other critical illnesses
Unlike other types life insurance plan critical illness insurance will uniquely pay out to the person insured and not your dependents. It does not matter what the outcome is so if, for example, you suffered a heart attack and fully recovered the benefit would still be paid out as it is purely on diagnosis of the condition and not of the resulting outcome. This cash lump sum gives the insured security and the ability to rebuild their lives.
